How many years of experience do you have as a host/hotelier?
We are a family that has been doing other jobs all our lives. Father with the installation of cooling chambers and showcases, mother with finances, brother with a camera and myself with real estate. We thought about a way to provide a good pension for our parents and turned to the hotel industry.
Some of us started in 2017, some a little later, in any case, we are very dedicated to making sure that our guests have a good time with us. 😊
Why did you choose to work in hospitality?
The plan was for my parents to welcome guests in their old age, have their own little paradise that will be warm and cozy, to enjoy nature and do what they love. Tourism in Montenegro is somehow a natural thing, we have beautiful nature in such a small area. 😊
What are the biggest challenges?
Lack of manpower, to satisfy all the guests in an area where it is not possible to provide them with everything so quickly. The lack of infrastructure on the part of the state is certainly a problem as well.
What would you recommend to future hoteliers and our clients?
We recommend collecting the most beautiful memories and experiences from the travels they experience during their life, therefore to make an effort to create beautiful content that will help their guests to feel like home and to feel the joy and beauty of the accommodation they are offering.
And with own experience and creativity to make the best possible offer, always willing to grow and learn and to be persistent as well as to enjoy nice conversations with tourists all around the world. 🙂
